TSP

TSP’s are shaped components of polycrystalline diamond, a material with the hardness of diamond. Able to withstand thermal temperatures up to 1,200°C. Primarily located on the gauge pad of drill bits, it can assist in wear protection. For softer formations it is primary used as a cutting element.

With our state-of-the-art, in-house testing lab, we do extensive research on the TSP materials to ensure we supply the highest performance and the greatest value. Our proprietary slurry abrasion test evaluates the abrasive wear properties and toughness of the materials to determine which grades will provide you with the best overall performance.

TSP Application Usage:

  • Cutting tools

  • Dressers

  • Die material with drawing wire

  • Various other wear applications

TSP Shapes, all with or without coatings:

  • Cubed

  • Cylinder

  • Rectangle

  • Triangle
